Body Fat

I had my body fat measured today and it turns out to be surprisingly low: only 5%. Probably the actual number is a bit higher than 5% since it's a quite quick and primitive way of measuring body fat.

But the encouraging thing is the trend: my last measurement(about a few years back) was done by the same lady with same method and it was 8%. I was working out a lot harder during that time, probably running at least 3 or 4 times a week, logging at least 3 miles for each run. But now I try to follow the EF approach: I can barely manage to have a decent run(3 miles) a week, and I skip gym a few days a week.

I think my diet change makes a lot of differences: my consumption of starchy food has been way down, and the timing of my meals have changed a lot to improve my body's fat-burning.

Overall I think EF is working for me. Generally I feel I am more energetic, I can sleep better, and I can handle stress better. Now the body fat reduction is another proof that EF makes a lot sense.

I will get my physical some time this summer, I hope my blood work will show some improvements too, particularly I am eager to see what my insulin sensitivity will be.
